YouTube to Stream Movie Rentals

If you are a movie fan then this might be something that interests you, I know how difficult it can be finding decent movies with great quality, wouldn’t it be good if you could browse one site and find all what you heart desires. Well it may soon be possible.

Rumours have it that the online video site YouTube is in discussion with several major movie studios about renting movies to users by streaming it through internet, making it the first worlds popular video site , charging it’s users to watch full length videos.
The site currently allows you to watch videos, but how amazing would it be to watch full length movies online with the same quality as a DVD would have.

Many of the movies will be available for a fee; the cost of a rental would be around $3.99, the same price as new releases on iTunes. While others may offer users to watch them for free, but with advertisements.

I guess YouTube always thinking of ways to expand the company.

The question is do people want to pay a fee to watch movies online, when already they are a fair amount that allows you to watch movies for fee.

What’s your opinion on this?
